10. Advertising, Reviews, Promotions & Affiliate Disclosure Policy

10.1 Paid Placement

Featured badges, newsletter spotlights, featured items, sponsored content, rotations, and other enhanced visibility may be paid promotional benefits. Paid placement does not mean that Happy Homeschoolers™ has independently tested, endorsed, certified, or ranked the provider’s quality or safety.

10.2 Advertising Claims

Advertisers are responsible for truthful, substantiated, non-misleading claims and for disclosing material conditions, limitations, recurring charges, expiration dates, typical results, and material connections. Health, educational, financial, and earnings claims must comply with applicable law and professional rules.

10.3 Reviews and Testimonials

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. Users may not fabricate, buy, sell, exchange, suppress, or manipulate reviews; impersonate customers; condition a benefit on a positive review; or retaliate against reviewers. Incentives for reviews must be disclosed, and incentives may not require a particular sentiment.

10.4 Testimonials and Results

Testimonials represent individual experiences and do not guarantee similar outcomes. Happy Homeschoolers™ may edit testimonials for length or clarity without changing their meaning and will obtain permission before using identifiable testimonials in marketing.

10.5 Affiliate Disclosure

Happy Homeschoolers™ may receive compensation or commissions when users purchase through certain links, at no additional cost to the purchaser. Affiliate relationships will be disclosed clearly near the relevant recommendation or link. Compensation does not guarantee a favorable review or recommendation.

11. Copyright, DMCA, Trademark & Brand-Use Policy

11.1 Happy Homeschoolers™ Intellectual Property

The Platform, brand identity, logos, designs, graphics, text, page layouts, membership materials, original resources, compilations, and other content created by or for Happy Homeschoolers™ are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for a written license, no rights are transferred to users.

11.2 Trademark Notice

“Happy Homeschoolers™,” “Discover • Learn • Belong,” associated logos, and other identified names and designs are claimed as trademarks or service marks. The ™ symbol may be used while a mark is unregistered. The ® symbol must not be used unless the specific mark is federally registered.

11.3 Limited Permission

You may view and use Platform materials for your authorized personal or membership purpose. You may not reproduce, sell, sublicense, redistribute, remove notices, create derivative commercial products, train competing systems on protected materials, or use brand assets without written permission, except where a specific resource license expressly allows such use.

11.4 Brand-Use Restrictions

· Do not alter, distort, recolor, separate, or recreate the official logo without permission.

· Do not imply that you own, operate, represent, certify, or are employed by Happy Homeschoolers™.

· Do not register confusingly similar business names, domains, social handles, groups, logos, or marks.

· Do not use “Happy Homeschoolers™ of [location]” or similar local branding without a written license.

· Stop using licensed branding when membership, authorization, or a local license ends.

11.5 Copyright Complaints

A copyright owner or authorized agent may submit a notice identifying the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material and its location, contact information, a good-faith statement, an accuracy-and-authority statement under penalty of perjury, and a physical or electronic signature.

11.6 Counter-Notices and Repeat Infringers

Where applicable, a user may submit a legally sufficient counter-notice. Happy Homeschoolers™ may forward notices and counter-notices to the affected parties and may restore content as permitted by law. We may terminate repeat infringers and users who repeatedly submit unauthorized content.

11.7 DMCA Agent Registration

Publishing a DMCA contact in this policy is not the same as registering a designated agent. If Happy Homeschoolers™ seeks the applicable federal online-service-provider safe-harbor protections, it should separately register and maintain a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office and keep the public contact information current.
